About Devidasa Kawal
Devidasa Kawal is an executive advisor, entrepreneur, and cultural strategist whose work connects institutional leadership with contemporary culture. With a professional foundation in education, nonprofit executive leadership, and institutional strategy, she advises founders, chief executives, and boards on governance, readiness, and the structures that determine whether decisions can be sustained.
As Founder and Principal of Kawal Advisory Group, she focuses on the conditions that must exist before ambition can scale: decision rights, organizational capacity, and the clarity required in moments of consequence. She is the author of The Readiness Gap and publishes The Kawal Brief, a LinkedIn newsletter with nearly 2,000 subscribers that examines how institutions absorb new capability, including artificial intelligence, without losing accountability or judgment.
She is also the founder of Tunie & Co., a high-fashion and lifestyle editorial platform that reflects her interest in visual storytelling, creative direction, and the aesthetics of modern leadership. Her fashion and media work operates in parallel with her advisory practice. Additional initiatives include Boardroom Ready Academy, for which she publishes The Readiness Report (a LinkedIn newsletter with nearly 2,000 subscribers), and Tampa Bay Art Salon, her private, invitation-only cultural initiative. She previously co-founded and co-hosted The White Horse Podcast and has since stepped aside to pursue other media endeavors.
She maintains a presence in both Tampa Bay and New York City, has 15,000 LinkedIn connections, and is available for engagements in either market.
